These insignia were intended for usage on the impopular M-42 caps, but were also often used on the more popular 'M43'-caps.

Nicely marked with the Luftwaffe eagle sign and “FLUV” (Flieger Unterkunft Verwaltung) which indicates this is a specific Luftwaffe issue lantern. The lantern is also marked M.W.N.41 which indicates production in 1941
