This large, non-wearable award (diameter approx. 9.6 cm, weight 245 g) is struck in metal and features on the obverse the national eagle with swastika and the inscription “Reichswettkämpfe der SA Berlin 1939”. The reverse shows the SA sports emblem with sword and wreath, along with the inscription “Dritter Preis” (Third Prize).
