Original Late-War Wehrmacht Pioneer Equipment Bags (Matching Pair)

Offered here is an original matching pair of late-war Wehrmacht Pioneer (Pioniere) equipment bags. These canvas assault pouches are of the simplified type, manufactured during the final phase of WWII (circa 1944–45), when material shortages and production speed led to streamlined field gear.

Both bags are made from rugged olive green canvas with steel hardware and identical construction—intended to be worn as a pair on either side of the Y-strap support system. Notably, these examples feature no side compartments, a clear indicator of late-war emergency pattern production.
