A rare and original commemorative badge for the Austro-Hungarian K.u.K. Infanterie-Regiment Hoch- und Deutschmeister No. 4, honoring service during the early years of World War I (1914–1916). The badge features a black and white enameled cross with the imperial double-headed eagle at the center, surrounded by a bronze laurel wreath. The outer oval bears the inscription: "K.u.K. I. BOESCH-UND DEUTSCHMEISTER No. 4 – 1914–1916."

Maker marked: Rozet & Fischmeister Wien on the reverse.

Material: Bronze with enamel.

Condition: Very good, with honest age wear and intact enamel.
