US WWII Army HBT Long Bill cap

a US WW2 Army HBT (herringbone twill) Long Bill Cap.
This pattern of cap came into issue with the US Army during the Second World War in 1944 and and saw widespread issue, replaced the short bill cap in 1944.

two green painted metal vent holes to each side and a label to the interior of the usual style used during this period. Sadly the label has been washed out
